A total of 55 students from the Agricultural Extension Study Program were sent to the field as part of the 2025 Kamapenta Agenda (Student Cadre Development in Agricultural Extension 2025). This activity aims to provide an introduction to campus life, especially within the Agricultural Extension Study Program, to enhance leadership skills and insights, and to strengthen networks among students, faculty, and academic staff in the Agricultural Extension Study Program.
The event, themed "Enhancing the Character of New Agricultural Extension Students Who Are Responsible, Ethical, and Have a Sense of Solidarity to Advance the Agricultural Extension Study Program," was attended by students from the 2024 batch. Prior to this, the participants had attended three days of in-class sessions. Starting today, Monday (January 20) until Wednesday (January 22), the Kamapenta participants will engage in various activities at the PTPN Glantangan area in Jember.
In her speech, Lenny Wijayanthi, the Head of the Agricultural Extension Study Program, advised the participants to prioritize their health and safety during the activities. "Don't hesitate to inform your seniors if you are feeling unwell," Lenny urged.
